Electronics engineering is an engineering discipline where non-linear and active electrical components such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, are utilized to design electronic circuits, devices and systems, typically also including passive electrical components and based on printed circuit boards. A Diploma holder in E&TC can avail the opportunity to take admission into 2nd year of BTech Programme under Lateral Entry category through entrance test.

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering was started in the year 2009 and this institute with an intake capacity 30 at present the department was setup keeping in view of the increasing demand of the industry and it able to fulfill the same.
In this Department all the laboratories are fully furnished with tools and equipment having latest state of technology.

Fee Structure :
The fee structure of the programmed is NOTICEided by the Govt. of ORISSA every year before the commencement of admission process. Once admitted, the fee structure of a student remains the same throughout the period of his/her study provided the student finishes the coursework within duration of SIX consecutive semesters.

The counseling is based on the rank secured by the candidate in the DET, observing statutory reservation policy of State Government.

The criteria for DIPOLMA admission is prescribed by the JEE, Govt. of ORISSA
